Karachi: The Sindh government on Friday has announced that the summer vacations in the province would start from July 1st till 31st August.
The Ministry of Education has issued the notification to this effect. Earlier in the day, Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah approved the summary.
Authorities cite to main reasons with respect to this decision firstly, Rammzan-ul-Mubarak (starting from July 20th), secondly monsoon seasons starts late July.
Meanwhile, Secretary Education Dr Muhammad Siddiq Memon said that the implementation of the order would be ensured strictly across the province. The instructions are applicable to both the private and public sectors institutions.
Examinations in interior Sindh had to be rescheduled twice due to floods and rains affecting academic session badly.
