Islamabad: Former law minister Babar Awan on Monday filed an application in the Supreme Court, tendering unconditional apology and seeking restoration of his license.
He moved the application through his lawyer Barrister Ali Zafar. Awan noted that his reaction after receiving contempt notice was unintentional and if the court took it as contempt he tendered unconditional apology.
Awan prayed the court that his license be restored as it was only sources of income for him. Later on, speaking to media, Awan said that adhocism  should be ended in appointing judges in the Supreme Court of Pakistan. He said a amended was required in article 185 of the Constitution.
