Karachi: Sindh rocked in the early hours of Wednesday after as many as 15 blasts took place near banks’ buildings in various cities of the province, leaving five people injured, police said.
According to police, blasts took place in Anaj Mandi, Fatimah Jinnah Road and Naseem Nagar in Hyderabad, targeting the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP).
One of the blasts took place in Nawabshah at Sakrand Road near an NBP branch which, according to the residents, was so powerful that the windows of nearby buildings broke with its force.
Banks at Kotri, Moro and Dokri were also the victims of the blasts, while a blast exploded near a government school in Mehar.
