Abbottabad: Though the killing of al-Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden still remains a mystery despite the lapse of a year, debris of his walled compound is for sale.
According to a report published in a British daily, Shakjeel the contractor, who purchased the debris of the compound, sold one of its bricks for 10 dollars.
He told the newspaper that people across the globe were still interested in the Bilal Town vicinity of Abbottabad where the compound was situated.
Mr Shakeel said that he purchased the wreckage for Rs500, 000 and it contained more than 200,000 bricks.
He said tourist wanted to purchase the bricks for their attribution with Osama bin Laden.
The contractor said that he might become focus of the Islamist militants and his family was concerned.
