Lahore: Pakistani intelligence agencies held Indian secret service Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) responsible for Tuesday’s Lahore railway station blast that killed at least three people, including a child, sources said on Wednesday.
According to the sources, the security agencies had warned the government of terror acts ahead of Bangladesh cricket team visit to Pakistan, which was subsequently postponed on security grounds following the Dhaka High Court ruling.
At least two people were killed and several others injured on Tuesday when a blast hit a railway station in Lahore. An injured child succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday in a local hospital.
An obscure outfit Lashkar-e-Balochistan had claimed responsibility for the blast. Pakistan has long been accusing India of fueling insurgency in its volatile south-western province of Balochistan.
