Hyderabad: The Sindh High Court Hyderabad Becnh on Tuesday set aside Election Commission decision of disqualifying Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) candidate who had won by-election from PS-53 Tando Muhammad Khan.
The court announced the verdict over a petition moved by Wahida Shah, who had been disqualified by The ECP for torturing polling staff during polling for two years. The ECP had also announced by-election in PS-53.
The bench also ordered to cancellation of by-election in the constituency until May 15.
Shah had filed petition, seeking cancellation of of by-election and her disqualification.
