Islamabad: Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Opposition leader Chaudhry Nisar rejected the government commission formed on Bhoja Air’s incident, claiming the commission was not a judicial one.
“The commission is formed without Chief Justice’s approval,” Nisar said, addressing a press conference in Islamabad. He said facts regarding Bhoja Air’s plane crash would be made public as soon as possible.
He said that government neither believed in assembly nor judiciary, adding the commission formed by such a government could not be judicial. A judicial commission should be formed with the approval of Supreme Court justices, the opposition leader said.
Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif echoed Nisar’s words, saying the commission was non-judicial.
