Islamabad: All the bodies of passengers and crew of ill-fated Bhoja airliner have been recovered and shifted to hospital. Hospital sources said that 102 bodies had been identified while 70 had been handed to the relatives.
Six bodies have been sent to Karachi via flight-PK-301 which is expected to land at around 1 pm, correspondents say.
They say Defence Secretary Nargis Sethgi has formed a committee to carry out investigation into the one of the worst incidents of Pakistan’s aviation history take claimed 127 lives, including 11 children and 67 women.
Mujahid Islam, a senior officer, would head the 4-member committee also comprising Kabir Khan, Amanullah Alvi and Doctor Ijaz.
