Islamabad: Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has formed an investigation committee which would probe regarding the plane crash incident in Islamabad, sources said on Friday.
The sources said that Group Captain (rtd) Mujahid-ul-Islam will lead the investigation committee.
Earlier President Asif Zardari and Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani expressed deep grief and sorrow over the passenger plane crash and ordered immediate investigation into the incident.
They also expressed condolence with the heirs of the victims and prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed souls in eternal peace and grant courage to the family members to bear the irreparable losses.
