Islamabad: The family members of al Qaeda`s slain chief Osama bin Laden might not be repatriated even after completion of their 45day jail term at Tuesday midnight, sources said on Tuesday.
Interior Minister Rehman Maliy says the family could not be repatriated until the government receives NOCs from Saudia Arabia, Yemen and Sudan.
He says the ministry has written authorities to the countries for NOCs.
According to media reports, a meeting was held at the interior ministry on Monday night to finalise the arrangements for deportation.
Bin Laden`s three wives two Saudi and one Yemeni and 13 children were detained on March 3 and kept in a house on the Embassy Road. The house was declared a sub-jail.
Senior Civil Judge Shahrakuh Argumand sentenced them on April 3 for having entered Pakistan without valid travel documents and living here illegally. The court had also ordered their deportation after completion of the
