Menlo Park, CA: Interesting in tracking down your activities and in knowing how Facebook uses your data? Good news is that you can now download your personal activity data via ‘Download Your Information feature’.
Facebook announced yesterday downloading personal information would now be easy for its users. Users now can get data about things like Facebook names, all friends requests and IP addresses they use to log in to the site.
Previously downloading option was limited to only recent photos, posts, messages and list of friends
The procedure is simple to download data. Just click on Account Settings and at end of the page there will be a link running as “Download a copy of your Facebook data.” You just have to click it and an automatic mail will be sent to you
This feature will be rolling out gradually to all users and more categories of information will be available for download in the future. Download Your Information is available from your Facebook Account Settings, official FB account for the company stated.
The company has also announced to add more categories to download in future.
