Bahawalnagar: At least eight people including four policemen were injured when some unidentified men threw acid on their faces in Bahawalnagar district, an area of Pakistan’s province Punjab, sources said on Thursday.
The sources said that unidentified thieves threw acid on police personals and people standing near to them in Haroonabad, a town of Bahawalnagar district.
“Police officials have lost their eye-sight due to the incident,” they added.
The injured were shifted to a local hospital of the area and police has started search operation for the culprits involved in the incident.
