Lahore: Awami Muslim League (AML) Chief Sheikh Rashid on Sunday predicted that suicide bombings would start if Nato supply routes would be reopened.
While addressing a gathering on the occasion of former UC nazim Manzar Azeem’s joining AML here in Bhagatpura Sheikh Rashid feared that suicide bombs would resume if Nato supply line was reopened and Punjab would have to suffer worst damage as a result of it.
“All the concerned political parties have given approval of resumption of Nato supplies but were giving contrary statements in the media,” he said.
Commenting on President Asif Ali Zardari’s visit to India, he said the event is being projected in a way as if it had resolved all the outstanding issues.
He alleged that the US went to India to put money on Pakistani national’s heads and efforts were being made to convert Pakistan into a state like Ethiopia.
