Islamabad; The National Highway Authority (NHA) has completed 12 major communication arteries worth Rs. 19.6 billion.
Another 46 new projects of cost Rs.1 billion will be included in next year’s financial budget.
According to the information available to The News Tribe, these 46 new projects include highways, river bridges, tunnels, flyovers and under changes which are about 2985 Kilometer in length.
Besides, many massive projects have been completed from during the period of March 2011 to 2012. These projects include Head Muhammad Wala Bridge on Chanab River, 2-lanes Fatak flyver in Multan, M-1 Percheech Interchange, N-105 Shahrae Larkana and N-25 Qalat Khadkoocha Road.
NHA has built 12 bridges during the same period for the first time in Pakistan’s history on the specific instruction by the government despite the financials problems.
