Karachi: Record hike in petroleum prices that sparked angered against the government are likely to be reversed, media reports said on Monday.
According to reports, the government may decrease price of diesel by Rs 3 to 4 while price of petrel may also be reversed to some extent.
Sources said that Dr Asim Hussain, Petroleum Advisor to Prime Minister, would announce the decision following a meeting with President Asif Ali Zardari today (Monday).
