Karachi: Interior Minister of Pakistan Rehman Malik on Sunday contacted all the parties and asked them to help the government in the efforts to bring peace back in the city of Karachi.
According to sources, the interior minister said that Rangers and police had been directed to take strict action against the criminals, adding that intelligence network had also been increase in tense areas like Orangi, Banaras and Kati Pahari.
Malik said that peace force of youth would be formed in affected areas which would work with police for the restoration of peace.
He said that he would also meet traders in the city on Sunday.
