London: A 32-year-old English woman, Jemma Webb, fighting with ovarian cancer, died just 90 minutes before her marriage.
According to report, Miss Webb’s condition worsened a month before her wedding therefore the couple decided to merry at home next day. But the cancer Miss Webb had fought for the last four years finally took her life.
The bedside ceremony was due to take place at 4.30pm on March 17 but at 3pm, with Mr Bradford and her family beside, Miss Webb died.
“On the day she was obviously excited and I was too. But by 2pm she got worse and within an hour had passed away,” Daily Mail quoted her fiancé Alex Bradford as saying.
“She just kept herself together all through the illness. Some people give up but she always thought she was going to beat it,” Alex Bradford said.
“Jemma may have had cancer, but cancer never had Jemma. Everyone was in awe [of her] for what she did and how she handled the cancer.”
