Karachi: Former president Malir Bar Association Sadr Salahuddin and his son Ali Raza Haider were killed as known assailants opened fire on their vehicle on Saturday.
Police said that former president Malir Bar and his son were attacked outside the court. The police said that armed men opened fire on their vehicle, leaving them injured. The victims succumbed to their wounds on way to hospital. Their bodies were shifted to Jinnah Hospital for medical formalities.
A large number of lawyers rushed to the hospital. Police said the victims belonged to Shiite community and termed the incident as target killing.
Sindh Home Minister Manzoor Wasan has taken notice of the double murder and sought a report from IG Sindh Police.
