Dhaka: Pakistan failed to defend a huge target of 330 runs and fell prey to the outstanding Indian batting at the fifth One Day International of Asia cup at Shere Bangla National Stadium, here on Sunday.
Virat Kohli’s outstanding knock of 183 played an important role in the six wicket win against Pakistan. Except Kohli, Rohit Sharma who scored 68 runs and Tendulkar 52 helped India to score a huge target of 33o runs.
Pakistani bowlers failed to defend the huge target set by the batsmen. Umar Gul who took two wickets remained the highest wicket taker from Pakistani side along with Saaed Ajmal and Hafeez who shared one wicket each.
Earlier Pakistan set a huge target of 330 runs.
