Islamabad: Chief of Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) Lt. General Ahmed Shuja Pasha visited prime minister house last time as spy master on Saturday.
The ISI chief, named as one of the most 100 influence persons by Time Magazine, will be leaving his seat on March 18, 2012.
During the meeting, the prime minister Yousuf Raza Gillani appreciated the services of General Pasha as ISI chief.
According to officials sources, federal government has decided appoint General Pasha as member of Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) just after his retirement from the service.
FPSC is the governing body for recruiting federal government officials and considered as one of the most important organization in the country.
The decision came just after the meeting of Pasha with the PM Gillani.
He was appointed as ISI head in 2008 by Army Chief General Ashfaque Parvez Kayani and got extension in 2011 for one year.
Lt. General Zaheerul Islam has already been named as new head of the agency.
