Karachi: As traditional Asian rivals of Pakistan and Indian teams to step into grounds on Sunday, cricket enthusiasts are energized on both side of the borders.
With both teams are looking somewhat unexpected in terms of performance, former Pakistani skipper and wicket keeper Rashid Latif views Pakistan as favorite in Sunday’s match.
“Pakistan has potential of performing both in bowling and batting while India team is suffering from bad patch at the moment,” Rashid, who runs a cricket academy at Karachi, said while talking with media.
Pakistan has already reserved its place in final with points score of 9. India and Sri Lanka have tie on 4 points with the former edging on basis of run rate.
Similarly former skipper and wicket keeper Moin Khan was confident on Pakistan’s win.
“Rifts inside Indian team can weaken its position while giving confidence to Green shirts.”
