Lahore: Pakistani team should not be underestimated given it’s ability to bounce other teams unexpectedly in today’s match of Asia Cup 2012, say Pakistani test players.
Giving his opinion about Pakistan’s unsteady performance, Fawad Alam, a test cricketer playing local cricket these days, said that Pakistan had equal chances to win today’s match.
After Pakistan’s almost debacle in ODI series against England, former as well as present test cricketers look nervous on what to say about today’s Asia Cup match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
“Despite many problems, Pakistani players can give tough time to Lankan players,” former test cricketer Muhammad Ilyas said.
Former Pakistani wicket keeper, Kamran Akmal also looked confident that green shirts would shine in the match.
“It is hopeful that players would make their best to win against Sri Lanka.”
Pakistan has beaten Bangladesh in its first match.
