Lahore: Police on Wednesday raided farmhouse of mother of Pakistani actress Meera and arrested 10 people including three women involved in “objectionable activities”. Besides, wine and prohibited drugs were also seized during the raid.
Superintendent Police (SP) Sadr Police Shoib Kurram Janbaz conducted the raid after receiving information that the farmhouse located at H-Bloc in Nawab Town area was being used for illegal activities.
Police said that three women Farah, Sidra and Farzana along with seven others involved in obscene activities were arrested.
Farmhouse manager Ghulam Abbas Dogar was also arrested. The police said that the farmhouse was a property of Meera’s mother Zahida Bukhari and she gave it on rent to a man identified as Ali.
Police said that a case has been registered against the accused.
