Washington: United Nations (UN) Secretary General, Ban Ki-moon has demanded international community to condemn the brutal killings of protestors in Syria, media reports said on Saturday.
Addressing General Assembly meeting the UN secretary general said that the citizens of Homs were killed brutally and violence should be stopped in Syria. “Bashar-ul-Asad’s government should stop violent actions against opposition,” Baan Ki-moon added.
UN secretary general said that the Syrian government was involved in the violations of human rights adding that the Human rights organizations should be given access to Homs in order to provide food to the people of the city.
Ban Ki-moon further said that almost 100 civilians were killed in Syria on daily basis and the Syrian government had failed to save their citizens.
United States President Barak Obama had also condemn the actions of Syrian government led by Bashar-ul-Asad and said that Asad’s government would not be able to survive to long.
