London: Pakistani Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar called on her British counterpart British William Hague on Tuesday in London in her two-day official visit.
During the meeting both the leaders discussed security situation in South Asia, particularly in Afghanistan and relations of Pakistan and Britain.
They also discussed various facets of the enhanced strategic dialogue framework
Talking to media after the meeting, Hague said that the Britain wanted peaceful and long-term relations with the Pakistan.
He said that both the countries must work together to eliminate terrorism in Afghanistan. He further said that before the Afghan war only one suicide bomb happened in Pakistan.
Hague said that prosperous future of Pakistan was in interest of Britain as well as the region.
While Pakistan Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar has vowed to continue better relations with Britain and said that it would never end.
She said that Britain helped Pakistan to reach European market and we were really grateful for the step.
The FM is being accompanied by Foreign Office spokesman Abdul Basit.
