Islamabad: As the Pakistani premier will appear before the Supreme Court on Monday (tomorrow) to face indictment charges, the red zone of Islamabad will be sealed tonight.
Taking the security measure the red zone has been closed for the general public.
The premier, Yousuf Raza Gilani, while taking to an Arab television Al Jazeera had said that he would step down if the apex court convicted him in contempt case.
On Friday, an SC upheld decision of seven-member bench to indict the prime minister for not implementing court orders in NRO case, dismissing his intra-court appeal and order to present before court on Monday Feb 13.
The security has been tightened around the SC and CCTV cameras have been installed in all entrance routes around building of the apex court.
