Sydney: India have faced another defeat against Australia in first Twenty 20 by 31 runs and failed to enjoy win in the current series against the host.
Australian opener Mathew Wade smashed 72-runs innings and provided a good start to the Australia while David Hussey also contributed with quick 42-runs. Both the batsmen hit three sixes each.
In the response, India failed to achieve the target and faced another defeat against Australia. Skipper MS Dhoni showed some resistance but no other batsmen helped in to overcome the disaster.
The skipper scored unbeaten 48-runs while Virat Kohli and opener Gautam Gambhir scored 22 and 20, respectively. Virender Sehwag got out in the first over of inning by fast bowler Brett Lee.
