Islamabad: Advocate Akram Sheikh, counsel for Mansoor Ijaz, the men at the center of memogate controversy, has moved an application in the Supreme Court of Pakistan, requesting that his client’s statement be recorded abroad.
He said in the application that it seemed that the government and army had compromised over the memogate issue.
He said that Ijaz’s statement should be recorded anywhere outside the country to take the memo issue to an end.
