Karachi: Sindh Assembly on Wednesday passed a resolution in support of democracy and democratic institutions of the country.
The resolution was tabled by Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) member Ghulam Mujadid Asraan, which was adopted by the house unanimously.
The resolution also reposed confidence in the political leadership of the country. It is to be mentioned here that in wake of the ongoing standoff between the military establishment and the civilian government, the National Assembly had already approved a similar resolution on Monday last which was tabled by chief of Awami National Party, a key government ally.
