Washington: Pakistan’s new ambassador to the US, Sherry Rehman likely to meet with the US President Barack Obama on January 18 at the White House.
According to sources, Sherry Rehman will present her credentials as ambassador to the US President in the meeting.
Earlier, Sherry Rehman met with senior State Department officials including Hillary Clinton, beginning her diplomatic assignment at an important time for relations between the two countries.
The U.S. officials congratulated her on assuming the position and said they look forward to working with the Ambassador Rehman on taking forward the bilateral relationship.
