Islamabad: The Supreme Court of Pakistan will take up Hussain Haqqani’s review petition in the memogate case on Jan 17.
An 11-member bench of the Supreme Court, headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad will hear the case.
The review petition was filed by Haqqani, Pakistan’s former ambassador to the US through his counsel Asma Jahangir, in the Supreme Court for review of the order passed by the apex court on Dec 30, 2011 in the memo case.
The petitioner has raised a number of questions about the orders issued by the court, including questions about fundamental rights.
Meanwhile, the Supreme Court has issued detailed judgment in the memo case.
