Karachi: Sindh Home Minister Manzoor Hussain Wasan has said that the Sindh government has received arrest warrants for former military ruler Pervez Musharraf.
Talking to media on Monday, he said that the arrest warrants were issued in October 2011. Wasan said that Musharraf would be kept in his favourite prison Landhi jail.
The home minister said that the former president would be held as soon as he landed at the Karachi airport.
He said the governmnet had to implement the warrants as it received. The minister said being a home minister it was his decision that Muhsarraf would be sent to jail and arrangements have been made in this regard. He said giving A or B class to Musharraf in jail was up to the court.
It is to mention here that Musharraf on Sunday, during a public rally of his All Pakistan Muslim League (APML), had announced that he would return Pakistan on January 27 to 30.
