New Delhi: An Indian court on Saturday indicted former diplomat Madhuri Gupta for having links with Pakistan’s feared intelligence outfit the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) directorate.
According to reports, the court indicted the ex female diplomat under Official Secret ACT that could led to three-year imprisonment.
A 700-page chargsheet was filed in July last year against Mrs Gupta who had been arrested in April 2010.
Madhuri Gupta, 53, served as secretary in Press Information cell. New Delhi police accused her of taking Rs 100,000 for leaking confidential know-how through email to Pakistani agents.
They accused that Mrs Gupta worked with her Pakistan boyfriend to whom she was going to tie the knot soon.
