Islamabad: US Ambassador to Pakistan Cameron Munter has said that Pakistan’s parliamentary committee’s recommendations regarding bilateral relations between both the countries are very important for the US and it is waiting for the recommendations.
Speaking at a conference on archeology held at a local hotel on Thursday, Munter said that Pakistan would itself take decision on Nato supplies and other issues.
He said that the US and Pakistan wanted to see peaceful and prosperous Afghanistan.
Replying a query regarding general ret Games Jones arrival in Pakistan over memogate issue, he said that Jones respected US relations with Islamabad and he would not come in the country.
He expressed the hope that relations between both the countries would improve in 2012.
