Islamabad: Asma Jehangir, Hussain Haqqani’s counsel in memogate case, has said that she will welcome Supreme Court of Pakistan’s verdict on maintainability of petitions in memogate case.
Talking to media outside the Supreme Court building on Friday, she said that the court verdict will be welcomed but everybody has the right to either criticize it or applaud.
She was of the view that the court in its verdict would declare the petitions acceptable for hearing.
However, she said that this would create difficulties for the court as everyone would be moving the apex court instead of going to relative forum.
