Kuwait: The last convoy of US soldiers pulled out of Iraq on Sunday, crossing into neighbouring Arab country Kuwait as the war ended without any success in search of Weapon of Mass destruction.
US exit marked the end of a bitterly divisive war that raged for nearly nine years and left Iraq shattered, with troubling questions lingering over whether the Arab nation will remain a steadfast U.S. ally.
The withdrawal comes after nearly 4,500 Americans were killed, about 32,000 were wounded and spent $800 billions dollars from the US Treasury. The question of whether it was worth it all is yet unanswered.
The Iraq Body Count project calculates that there were over 100,000 civilian deaths as a result of the conflict.
