London: Star striker Wayne Rooney has really confident that Manchester United will try to make amends for their failure in the Champions League.
Rooney insists the club will try to make amends by winning a 20th Premier League title, while also taking the much-maligned Europa League seriously.
The Sun quoted Rooney, as saying: “It’s a shame we’re out of the Champions League. That’s what we all want to play in. Unfortunately we went out and now we turn our attention to the Premier League and Europa League.”
He added: “I don’t think the manager has won the Europa League, so I’m sure he’ll want to win it. Every competition we enter we want to win.”
