Mirpur: Bangladesh cricket team have dominated day one of the second test match against Pakistan after making 234 runs for the lost of five wickets at Shere Bangla National Stadium here on Saturday.
Bangladesh were lost 4 wickets only for 43 runs but 180 runs partnership between Shahriar Nafees and Shakib ul Hasan took Bangladesh out of trouble and they managed to score 234 for the loss of five wickets.
Spinners proved fail in the first day while the fast bowlers took all the five wickets. Young Aizaz Cheeme picked up 3 wickets while Umar Gul took 2.
Earlier, Pakistan won the toss and put in Bangladesh to bat first.
