Multan: At least 12 people, including four children were killed and several others injured in a road accident in Vehari district, some 100 kilometers from here on Saturday.
According to reports, the incident took place when a passenger van collided into a truck and caught fire in Tibba Sultan near Melsi. The ill-fated van was heading toward Vehari from Multan. 12 passengers were burnt to death while several others sustained severe burn injures when CNG cylinder of the van exploded following the collision.
Rescue workers and police rushed to the spot and shifted the dead and injured to a nearby hospital.
