New Delhi: As many as 99 runs partnership between last wicket helped West Indian side to set 270 runs target against India in second ODI here at Visakhapatnam on Friday.
At one stage West Indies were 170 for lost of nine wicket but Ravi Rampaul and Kemar Roach scored 99 runs in final wicket stand.
Ravi Rampaul played a great innings of 86 runs not out.
Earlier, Indian captain Virender Sehwag won the toss and decided to bowl against West Indies. However, a mild drizzle had delayed the toss and the covers were brought on, but was later removed.
After narrowly escaping defeat in the series opener, India would look to guard against complacency and hope for an improved showing from their batsmen on Friday.
