Islamabad: Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has said that Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani didn’t take the Parliament into confidence over the memogate scandal.
Talking to media in Islamabad on Friday, the opposition leader said that the incumbent government had marred role of the parliament and all the decisions into key matters were taken by certain elements sitting in the presidency.
He said that the government was dumping the resolutions of the Parliament into dustbin. Nisar said the government wanted some element to make decisions on key issues and the Parliament endorsed it.
He said that no one had the right to compromise on the national security and no such move would be tolerated.
