Karachi: Multinet (Pvt) Ltd Pakistan defeated EFU insurance’s central team by six wickets in final match of the four team tape-ball tournament here in Karachi.
Multinet (Pvt) Ltd won the deserving title in the well fought out tournament that had four participant teams from EFU Central, EFU Head Office, Orix Leasing and Multinet (Pvt) Ltd.
In the final game of the tournament Multinet won the toss and elected to bowl first and restricted EFU central to score only 52 runs. In replying to a quite low target Multinet managed to get it in only 5.3 over with six wickets left.
Multinet’s Masood Alam Siddiqui got Man of the tournament for his all-rounder performance during the tournament while Talha Shahid Khan was declared man of the match for his match winning performance in the final game.
In the league matches Multinet team comprises Adnan Zaidi (C), Adil Rana, Adnan Yahya, Ahsan Tariq, Azfar Imtiaz Siddiqui, Maqbool Ur Rehman, Masood Alam Siddiqui, Mohsin Tufail, Noman Shafiq, Paras Ali, Rafaqat Ali, Talha Shahid Khan, Tariq Ahsanullah, Umair Munawwer and Waqas Hussain Rizvi won all its games quit comprehensively.
