Taxila: A least 15 people were killed and several others injured when a passenger bus crashed into a tree in Taxila district of Punjab, some 32 kilometer northwest of Islamabad, on Tuesday.
According to reports. the passenger bus was on its way to Rawalpindi from Peshawar when the driver lost control and hit a tree.
Soon after that the vehicle caught fire killing at least 10 on the spot while four others succumbed to injuries on the way to hospital.
The injured were shifted to PIMS Hospital while rescue efforts were still underway.
