Lahore: Pakistan’s federal cabinet has decided to convene joint session of the Parliament to discuss the situation emerging after the Nato raid on its military outposts that led to killing of over two dozen officials, sources said on Tuesday.
The sources said that Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani is presiding over the cabinet meeting in Lahore where Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar briefed the participants over the situation.
The sources said Khar told the participants that the Nato raid was a sheer violation of country’s sovereignty, integrity and international laws.
The cabinet also expressed solidarity with the grieved families of military men who were killed in the Nato attack.
