Karachi: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) is observing ‘Pakistan Stability and Solidarity Day’ today against the Nato attack on Pakistani check-post.
MQM chief Altaf Hussain has strongly condemned the unwarranted and unprovoked attack by the US and NATO forces on the border areas of Pakistan asked the nation to observe Monday (today) as ‘Pakistan Stability and Solidarity Day’.
MQM chief directed its workers and supporter to hoist national flags at houses, office buildings and other public places in order to express complete solidarity for the sake of national security and honour.
He also directed the MQM workers to take off party flags from everywhere. MQM would also hold a public gathering at 90 head office today.
At least 26 Pakistani soldiers, including two officers were killed and over dozen injured in Nato attack on a Pakistani check-post near Afghan border on Saturday.
Pakistan has suspended Nato fuel and others supplies in protest against the attack.
