Karachi: Police on Sunday claimed to have arrested four accused involved in sectarian killing and attack on Saudi Arabian consulate in Karachi.
Farooq Awan, the senior superintendent police of crime branch, said that the police have arrested three accused on Sunday morning, adding that police later raided on a house located in Rabia city of Gulestan –e-Johar area of the city and arrested a wounded accused Asif Munna after an exchange of fire.
The SSP said that Asif was a member of banned organization Lashkar-e-Mehdi. He added that all the four accused were involved various sectarian killings in the city and an attack on Saudi Arabian consulate.
Later, the hospital sources said that the accused Asif lost his life in Jinnah Hospital during treating after receiving serious injuries.
