Karachi: The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) will extend full support to the holding of UAE Expo 2011 “Magnificent 7”, being held at Karachi Expo Centre from November 30 to December 2, 2011.
According to a statement issued here on Tuesday, FPCCI leadership including Haji Ghulam Ali, President FPCCI former President Tariq Sayeed and S. M. Muneer, Vice Presidents Khalid Tawab and Dawood Usman Jhakhura have appreciated the decision of United Arab Emirates for holding this mega event in Pakistan and said that this will boost trade and investment between the two brotherly countries.
They specially lauded the role of UAE Consul General in Pakistan Suhail Bin Matar Al-Ketbi in conceptualizing this idea and said FPCCI will do its best to make it a result oriented event.
In this regard, the FPCCI will host the Investment Conference on “Role of UAE in Reshaping International Trade” on this occasion.
The apex body will also arrange exclusive welcome for UAE Minister for Foreign Trade Sheikha Lubna Bint Al Qasmi and her delegation and other delegates arriving from UAE.
FPCCI is making special arrangements for the B2B meetings between the visiting leading UAE Investors/Businessmen and Pakistani entrepreneurs during the exhibition and conference.
FPCCI will also organize networking with traders of both UAE and Pakistan for promoting trade opportunities. Khalid Tawab Vice President was nominated as focal person on behalf of FPCCI to oversee the Event on a day-to-day basis.
