Karachi: President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari held separate meetings with United States and Chinese delegations on Tuesday.
A US delegation met with the president at the Bilawal House, Karachi, and discussed Pak-US ties and the regional situation.
The president later held talks with an eight-member Chinese trade delegation, which talked about development projects, including those of railways, trade, banking and power sectors.
Zardari invited the Chinese delegation to invest in the country. He also expressed the desire that Islamabad wanted projects to be undertaken in public-private partnership mode.
