Lahore: Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has said that the latest changes in the US policy regarding drone attacks in Pakistan reflected the fact that the attacks were not being launched with the consent of his government.
He was speaking to journalists after the inauguration of country’s first communication Seattleite Paksat-R1 in Kalasha Kaku.
“Protests and rallies are not banned in democratic system but the political leaders should avoid passing derogatory remarks about anyone.
He said that the rallies would be welcomed by the government.
Replying a query regarding MFN status to India, Gilani said every decision is taken in the larger interest of the nation. “Cabinet unanimously approved the decision” he added.
