Muhammad cartoon sparks attack on French magazine

ُParis: French Prime Minister Francois Fillon has condemned a suspected firebomb attack on a sardonic newspaper that printed a cartoon of the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH), the last messenger of God, on its front page.

The French PM said on Wednesday that freedom of expression is an unchallengeable right in our democracy and all attacks on the freedom of the press must be condemned.

No cause can justify such an act of violence, Fillon said in a statement on the fire at the offices of weekly Charlie Hebdo.
